I want to shout this scripture from the mountain tops!!
As I coach more and more incredible young people and excitingly more and more incredible young men, I am blown away by the way they think, by their wisdom and by how they see the world. They teach me so much!
This younger generation is often misunderstood and brushed aside for being young and inexperienced. This generation often feel unseen and unheard.
I would like to encourage you to take some time out to sit with a younger person and truly listen and truly see them for who they are and what they have to say, without any blinkers from your own opinion. I hope you will be as amazed as I am by spending time with these precious souls.
Yes, they may be doing life differently to how you did life or how you expect life to be lived but who says the “older way” of doing life was better or right? When we all stay in our own lanes and live our lives authentically as our truest version, according to God’s truth, that is what matters, not your or my opinion.
My heart beats for the younger generation. I learn so much from them. Their creative, out-the-box way of thinking excites me and whenever I am stuck with any technology issues, it’s always a younger person who helps me so quickly and easily.
Let’s make way for the next generation to be seen and heard while we love and encourage them to use their voices and their talents.
